2012 Passionate about motorsport? Then get closer to the action by becoming a BMMC marshal. You can find out more about this exciting and enjoyable hobby by joining us for a FREE Taster Day Experience at either Donington Park or Mallory Park. After a morning walkabout that’ll introduce you to the circuit, pits, paddock and administration areas, in the afternoon you’ll join a group of experienced marshals for a taste of what’s really involved!

NEW UNDER 18s PROGRAMME
In association with GoMotorsport, 2012 will see the BMMC’s Midland Region Taster Day Experiences programme extended to meet the MSA’s stringent ‘Duty of Care’ guidelines for marshals between 14 & 18 years of age. Running in parallel with our main calendar, this will provide younger volunteers with a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the motorsport environment.

  1. Due to the 2012 Motor Sports Association (MSA) Regulations, direct booking of BMMC Taster Day Experiences is only available to applicants aged 18 years or over. If you’re fortunate enough to fall below this age limit, please see details of our new Under 18s Programme.

  2. The BMMC Midland Region accepts no responsibility for injury, or the loss or damage of personal property, howsoever caused.

  3. The BMMC Midland Region reserves the right to refuse bookings and admission without assigning reason to do so.

  4. To ensure everyone attending a Taster Day Experience has equal opportunity to benefit from advice and support that’s appropriate to their individual needs, groups are limited to 25 people per event. As a result, places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

  5. To maximise capacity, applications are limited to one Taster Day Experience per person. A subsequent one-to-one session can be arranged on request.

  6. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the BMMC Midland Region reserves the right to amend or cancel any of our Taster Day Experiences without prior notification or warning.

  7. Taster Days Experiences are provided at no cost to participants. BMMC members’ deliver this programme on a voluntary basis, without financial reward for personal gain.
